The Company
This organisation are currently leading the global wind energy industry with the in-house capability to manufacture wind turbines and deliver large scale wind farms. The portfolio includes onshore and offshore turbines, operations, serviced and maintenance integrating the latest in wind power technology.
The Role
As a Commissioning Technician you will ensure all systems and equipment are tested, and commissioned, in accordance with the applicable documentation.
FIFO to SA with flights from Australian Capital Cities
Employment Details
- Immediate start available
- 12 month duration
- 3:1 roster
- 60 hours per week
- Between $750-$800 per day (inclusive of superannuation)
- Must have electrical license and HV operator certificate
- Cert III Electrical mechanic license or proven GE wind turbine commissioning experience
- 5-10 years industry and similar roles experience
- HV operator certification and RIC
- GWO work at heights, first aid, CPR, LV rescue, manual handling, tower rescue etc
- Relevant Product & EHS training certifications
- Ability to prepare and follow Tests and documentation check lists, test plans.
- Experience in Wind projects site construction, with multinational team and subcontractor workforce
- Ability to secure quality assurance and environmental processes.
- Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, construction, and commissioning of wind turbines industry.
- Knowledge of operation of WTG systems such as Pitch system, Yaw system, cooling circuits, elevator, hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge in Mechanics and Hydraulics
- Must possess a Driver's license
- Commissioning experience, troubleshooting ELV, LV and HV
