Communications Adviser ASO5
12 month contract opportunity for ASO5 State Government based in Adelaide CBD
Immediate possible start
54 - 56 hourly rates + super
Must be a Resident of South Australia with a valid & Current Police Check

We're looking for a talented individual to join this high-performing team as a Communications Officer for a 12-month journey to join this State Government agency.
Responsibilities:
Providing strategic communications advice and services to engage internal and external audiences with our objectives.
Producing high-quality and effective content across all channels to achieve business objectives.
Fostering productive relationships to identify issues and opportunities, ensuring proactive communication strategies.
Contributing to achieving a high-performing team and delivering on team outcomes.
Cultivate effective relationships and networks across the business to help the proactive identification of potential communication and engagement issues and opportunities, and build understanding and capability within the business.
Identify emerging issues or active incidents or issues that represent a risk to the agency's reputation and support delivery of the business response, where required.
Contribute to communication responses as required, and attend associated training and workshops
Act as a Media and Communications lead in the event of an emergency incident, coordinating the strategy and practical resourcing of the communications response.
What you'll need to succeed
MUST BE A RESIDENT OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA WITH FULL WORK RIGHTS
Previous experience in similar roles in a gov setting
Demonstrate strong writing skills to deliver consistent high-quality products
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
Experience using Adobe Creative suite desirable
