How you will contribute
Working alongside the Communications Manager – this role takes responsibility in leading an integrated function of creative development, copywriting and communications in all forms.
The Communications Executive’s role involves assisting and executing the communications plan for the retail business, PR activities, social media and digital communications, developing content and copy. This role will also support other business units as required within the Paspaley Group for a communications specialist viewpoint.
The person who will succeed in this role is an integrated marketer who understands the Paspaley brand strategy and vision and can implement communications and content initiatives including all forms of internal and external communication across all channels.
This role requires a high level of organisation, creative thinking and proven communications and content abilities to execute marketing, content and PR initiatives to the highest standards. A strong understanding of integrating a luxury brand tone of voice is essential, via Paid, Owned & Earned and the ability to manage internal stakeholders (Paspaley board, Group, SLT and cross functional teams) and external agencies to execute communications and content initiatives to the highest standard.
Who you are:
Key Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing, publishing or communications experience.
- Degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related discipline with industry experience.
- Outstanding communications skills – verbal and written. Experience in copywriting across print, digital and social platforms, preference for luxury and lifestyle brands.
- Experience in key messaging and speech writing for brand, corporate and key company executive communications.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships & trust.
- A passion for creative ideas and brand engagement.
- Excellent at multitasking and organisation, problem solver, clear vision in stressful situations and outstanding attention to detail.
- A sense of humour and camaraderie.
- Experience in AI and SEO copywriting.
