Job description

At Reapra, we are pioneering a very different way of building ventures. Because of this approach, the way we source potential founders - initially through deep self-discovery - and operate internally, is unlike most companies or VC firms.
This position might not be for you if you are prioritising an opportunity that teaches technical skills or responsibilities in standard recruitment, VC deal sourcing, marketing or PR, or other corporate or VC responsibilities. Our Mission and Vision require us to create completely new processes and projects, and so we are looking for people who want to co-create with us from the ground up!
Responsibilities
Innovative Community Initiation and Improvement

  • Start and build a Reapra Community in Australia innovatively, aligning with Reapra's long term vision and values.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies for intentional and organic growth of membership in the Community.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment within the Community to reflect the intended vision.
Creative Engagement Strategies and Member Support:
  • Plan and experiment with diverse, creative methods to encourage unique networking and learning experiences, including online engagement, event planning and management, and other campaigns to catalyse Community involvement.
  • Be the primary point of contact for Community members and other Community organizers, ensuring responsiveness and providing assistance.
Community Advocacy:
  • Advocate for the Community within Reapra, ensuring alignment with the overall Mission and Vision.
Pipeline Development:
  • Develop pipeline and processes to manage potential founder candidates among Community members who may qualify for Reapra’s Intensive Foundation Design program and subsequent employment/investment.

Requirements
  • Highly proficient in English.
  • Previous social media, online and offline strategy development and management experience.
  • Basic understanding of data analytics for community engagement assessment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Community Building.
  • Decent knowledge of the career and entrepreneurship space in major or promising markets of Australia.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strategic thinking are essential for success in this role.
  • Above the line marketing experience is a plus.

*Members of Reapra are expected to undergo a discernment process called Intensive Foundation Design (IFD) - a process and dialogue of self-understanding using our frameworks and using this model of understanding to ascertain whether you are aligned with the Reapra way of building future industries through our methodology of Mastery by Co-creation with Society (MCCwS).
  • Open to Creating Something New: Proven experience in initiating and enabling organic growth of new communities from scratch. Willingness to embrace the opportunity to be part of creating something novel and impactful versus just improving on market-relevant technical skills.
