What you'll be doing:

As a Community Development Coordinator (CDC), you will facilitate and implement a range of innovative capacity building activities such as awareness raising, information sharing, stakeholder liaison and community engagement activities which will support and assist people living with a disability.

The position plays a pivotal role in engaging with people living with disability, their families, carers, and broader community to increase awareness and remove barriers for people living with a disability.

Who we're looking for:

• Significant proven experience working in Community Development roles.
• Someone with great people skills, excellent written communication, and time management skills.
• An understanding of community capacity building models
• Demonstrated project management experience and administration

What we can do for you:

• Salary banding from $78,506 - $84,320 depending on relevant qualifications and years of relevant experience.
• Non-for-profit Salary Packaging (up to the value of $15,899 per annum tax free) and Meal and Entertainment Packaging (up to the value of $2650 per annum tax free) (Part time and Full-time employees)
• All CDCs receive a daily travel allowance ($25 per day!).
