The City of Sebastopol is seeking an engaging,inclusive, and talented leader who is well-versed in current andlong-range planning, affordable housing, and developmentactivities, including economic development. The CommunityDevelopment Director oversees all functions and activities of theCommunity Development Department. The current focus is onplanning and economic development activities.
In the future, theposition’s duties may also include oversight of the City’sbuilding, inspection, and code enforcement functions. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: A typical way to obtain the requiredqualifications would be: Education: Equivalent to graduation froman accredited four-year college or university with majorcoursework in Community Development, urban planning, civilengineering, or a related field.
