Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced educational administrator to take on the role of Dean of Programming, Staff Management and Co-curricular (P-12) Full Time Fixed Term.

The Dean of Programming, Staff Management and Co-curricular (P-12) is the key leader for the College timetable construction, daily organisation and oversight of the College Co-curricular program and calendar. The Dean of Programming, Staff Management and Co-curricular (P-12) will be a member of the College Senior Leadership team.

About the role:

The position includes (but is not limited to) the following:

• Responsible for the construction and maintenance of the College timetable;
• Responsible for the day to day activities of the College including oversight of staff relief rosters, calendar development and excursions approvals;
• Oversee the Co-curricular programs of the College, working with key personnel to ensure coordinator of programs and their delivery;
• Oversee the staffing and organisation of the Co-Curricular programs of the College;
• Work in partnership with the Deans of Teaching and Learning (P-12) monitoring professional development and growth for all teachers;
• Fulfil teaching duties as required;
• Willingness to contribute as required and in alignment with the Lutheran Chirstian ethos.

Skills and Experience:

• Teacher registration at Proficient Level with the Queensland College of Teachers or eligibility for such registration;
• Significant successful experience in teaching and school administration, ie Timetabling experience would be required ("Tiometable" would be advantageours);
• Prior experience with TASS or similar Learning Management System software would be desirable;
• A high level of attention to detail and proven analytical/problem solving skills;
• A high level of organisation and time management skills;
• Personal integrity and ability to deal with sensitive and/or political issues with discretion, tact, diplomacy and good judgement.
