Halcyon Knights is looking for a dynamic Community Engagement Campaign Coordinator for a 6-month contract with a state government department, based in the city fringe. This role is essential for a campaign, aimed at enhancing disaster preparedness across the state.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- As the Community Engagement Campaign Coordinator, you will lead the "30 Ways in 30 Days" campaign—a social media-driven educational initiative designed to boost public awareness of disaster risks and preparedness. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Refreshing, implementing, and evaluating a state-wide disaster resilience communications campaign.
- Identifying and establishing strong relationships with stakeholders including emergency services, local government, NGOs, businesses, community groups, and schools.
- Executing a calendar of events and grassroots actions within the campaign.
- Creating and managing promotional resources and collateral.
- Ensuring active and timely participation of all stakeholders to deliver a successful campaign within the agreed timeline and budget.
ABOUT YOU
Proficiency in Adobe Suite for creative design.
Proven experience in designing and managing communication campaigns on social media and traditional platforms.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences.
Experience in website design.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
Ability to manage competing demands, work autonomously, and stay focused on required outcomes.
