Freedom Solutions
Freedom Solutions operates across NSW and Victoria. It is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organisation providing assistive technology solutions and occupational therapy services for people living with disability and older people. For over 40 years we have been a valued stakeholder in the disability services sector, enabling our clients to achieve their goals through the:
- Design and construction of custom assistive technology otherwise commercially unavailable;
- Modification of commercially available equipment to suit clients’ individual needs;
- Freedom Wheels customised Bike Service; and
- Provision of specialised technical advice to clients
The Role
As a Community Engagement and Business Development Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of cultivating and nurturing relationships with stakeholders and serve as our dedicated brand ambassador. Your primary focus will involve engaging with diverse audiences through trade shows, presentations, and strategic outreach initiatives. Your efforts will actively contribute to increasing sales while enhancing our community presence and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Foster and manage relationships with service users, industry referrers, and community partners to drive Freedom Wheel promotion and sales.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a passionate advocate for our brand, educating individuals and organisations about our services at trade shows, exhibitions, and regional events.
- Salesforce Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records within Salesforce, documenting commercial activities and customer interactions.
- Community Engagement: Identify and optimise marketing distribution channels, actively engaging with stakeholders to strengthen community presence.
- Partnership Development: Utilise professional networks to foster collaborations within disability sports, recreation, and leisure activities.
- Referrer Relationship Support: Proactively assist referrers in understanding our product and service offerings.
About You
You will have experience in developing business relationships in metropolitan and regional communities. Strong time management skills with an understanding of the health/disability/NDIS sectors an advantage. You will have demonstrated success in developing and evaluating community awareness programs to achieve sales targets.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Working with Children Check as well as an NDIS screening Check.
