Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Engaging with communities and the mental health sector to promote awareness of, and engagement with, AKKF.
- Facilitating and driving family engagement with AKKF to maintain and increase participation of young people on AKKF programs.
- Sourcing, recruiting and engaging volunteers to support AKKF program delivery.
- Facilitating and delivering AKKF programs*.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- The ability to engage with a variety of audiences, tailoring communication to suit the relevant audience.
- High level administrative experience.
- Be a proven team player who takes own initiative in supporting and achieving team goals.
- Strong attention to detail with solutions-focused problem-skills.
- Have a can-do, adaptable, resilient, positive, proactive attitude and approach.
- Full driver’s license and access to own car.
- High standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Maintain a current satisfactory check for working with young people, as per the relevant State/Territory legislation.
