Community Engagement Officer

Come and join our team as a Community Engagement Officer! As a Community Engagement Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of our Community Engagement strategies and approaches. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our engagement efforts align with our Community Engagement Strategy and contribute to the achievement of our Community Strategic Plan.​Key Accountabilities:

• Support the development and implementation of Community Engagement strategies and approaches
• Develop engagement materials and collateral, including coordinating printing and distribution
• Assist teams in mapping stakeholders and determining appropriate methods of engagement for each group
• Carry out administrative tasks, such as coordinating letterbox drops and community email notifications
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure the engagement website is up to date
• Monitor and evaluate stakeholder engagement projects, providing ideas for continuous improvement
• Support the analysis of feedback and reporting
• Assist with face-to-face consultation events and manage event equipment
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive community stakeholder database

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications in a related field are preferred
• Experience in communication, Community Engagement, or public relations
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic graphic design and website management skills (experience with Adobe software is a plus)
• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Italian is preferred
• We are open to candidates who may be learning on the job or recent graduates, as long as they meet the above qualifications and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Hybrid working, up to two days working from home per week (specific days negotiable and subject to operational requirements)
• There may be some out-of-hours work required
