Role Overview
As a Community Registered Nurse you will be responsible for supporting people living in their homes following person-centered care and applying best clinical practice. You will be part of a dedicated team and support staff with clinical advice and provide a range of clinical assistance to clients, including but not limited to, health assessments, simple and complex wound care, palliative care, simple and complex medication administration, and chronic disease management. The Registered Nurse team members are supported by and report to the Program Manager of Clinical Services.
About the Person
The optimal candidate will display proficiency and confidence in clinical care and genuine empathy and understanding towards our Residents. Additionally, they should be dedicated to collaborating seamlessly within a larger team committed to delivering a high standard of person-centered care.
Apart from this, we ask that you have the following:
- AHPRA Registration
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A committed approach to person-centred care and compliance standards
- Reliable vehicle and current drivers license
- Smartphone to access the mobile worker app
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- First Aid Certificate
- 3 x covid vaccinations
- Influenza 2024 vaccination
