Registered/Enrolled Nurse Theatre
Theatre Registered RN Nurse Positions for Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics.
Full time, Permanent Part time and Casual positions available - all shifts
We have 2 dedicated Operating Theatres and have a number of specialties including, orthopaedics, gynaecology, general surgery, plastics and ophthalmology.
We comprise of 21 overnight beds, a busy Day Surgery Unit and a 3 bed High Dependency Unit.
We are a family friendly place to work and as such support flexibility with rostering and are willing to negotiate working hours for the right candidate.
Theatres are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Registered/Enrolled Nurses with knowledge in both Scrub/Scout and Anaesthetic roles.
Essential criteria
- You will provide a high level of person centred care and follow policy and procedure
- You will work alongside Visiting Medical officers to bring the best possible outcomes
- You will follow Acorn Standards for Perioperative Nursing 16th Edition
- You will support and mentor our junior Registered Nurse and enrolled nurses
- You will have a good understanding of the 8 National standards as set out by the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Healthcare
- All applicants will be registered with AHPRA and have a valid national and working with children police clearance
