This role will be based onsite in Beechworth, Victoria.
Position Objective
As a Community Specialist, your primary goal is to engage and delight our consumers, fostering brand awareness and delivering exceptional service via phone, email and social media. On a day-to-day basis, you will provide enthusiasm for our products and experiences, respond to inquiries and provide solutions to any problems. To do this role well you must be able to communicate clearly, remain calm and professional and demonstrate empathy when providing support for our consumers.
Working with a team, you will ensure that you help increase brand awareness across Australia, actively seek input from consumers to help with improvements and future direction and create a consistent and excellent experience for all those consumers you interact with. You will be supported with training, variety in your role and the flexibility to do whatever is necessary to create great consumer experiences.
Responsibilities
You will report directly to the Consumer & Community Manager and be accountable for the following:
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with consumers at all times.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, social media – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Treads.
- Address and resolve complaints and inquiries efficiently.
- Keep records of consumer interactions for timely follow-up.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies.
- Collaborate with the team to support tasks beyond your role, fostering a unified work environment.
At Billson’s we are one team and pride ourselves on working collaboratively - we support each other and help as needed. On occasion and within reason, you may be asked to assist with tasks outside your role and responsibilities.
Position Requirements and Skills
- 2 years of service experience in hospitality, retail, or admin.
- Proficient in all social media platforms.
- Ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging customer situations.
- Facilitate meaningful conversations between consumers and the brand.
- Familiarity with marketing tools, including website management, third-party platforms, and EDM.
- In-depth knowledge of our products.
- Provide regular reports on community discussions to contribute to building brand awareness.
