The organisation:
Progressive and innovative Aged Care provider that has developed a reputation for providing its residents with high quality person centered care. With an innovative and thought out strategic plan for the future the organisation has experienced major growth and as a result they are now seeking a dedicated Admissions/Client Relationship Co-ordinator to assist with incoming enquiries and provide expert advice around Aged Care admissions.
The role:
The Admissions Specialist will work closely with the Facility Manager and will develop strategies to engage with potential residents and families who are looking to enter residential Aged Care. The AS will also be required to provide information about Aged Care services, fees and requirements for entering an Aged Care home and guide each customers through the system whilst exploring options that best suit their needs.
Key to this position is the ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with families and all external referrers within the community such as Hospitals, Transition Care providers, GP's, Social Workers, ACAS teams etc in order to drive occupancy at the homes.
Key Selection Criteria and requirements:
- Previous Admissions, Customer Service or Sales and Marketing experience within the Residential Aged Care, Home & Community Care or Retirement Living sectors.
- Understanding of Fees and Charges applicable to Aged Care (RADS/DAPS etc) is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focused attitude.
- Strong business development and negotiation skills
- Clear National Police Record Check/NDIS clearance
- Current drivers Licence
- Proof of vaccinations including Flu and Covid
