• 72.5 hour fortnight

About our opportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our Local Laws Branch at Caboolture!Reporting directly to the Local Laws Manager, you will lead a passionate team of 24 Local Law Rangers in investigating a high volume of requests related to State legislation and local law breaches within the community.Our primary focus is to resolve matters with positive communication, education and appropriate compliance actions…and you will also have the direct reports of three Local Law Team Leaders and a Senior Operations Support Officer to assist you in achieving this objective.Additionally, you will:

• Lead the strategic development of the unit
• Assist in the allocation and prioritisation of workloads
• Provide expert advice regarding operational issues and service delivery enhancements
• Develop and implement processes, procedures and frameworks to improve work practices
• Develop team capabilities and foster a strong customer service team culture
• Act as a key contact for the delivery of services from the animal pound
• Provide operational reporting and analysis to identify complaint trends
