About the Role:
We are seeking caring and diligent Support Workers to provide care for our consumers located across the Nepean including Wentworth Falls and Katoomba regions. The successful candidates will be available any days between Monday - Sunday from 7am - 3pm and/or 3pm - 8 pm.
In this role you will be visiting numerous clients within their own homes, and therefore, your own car is required.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Personal Care.
- Domestic Assistance, Meal preparation and serving.
- Medication prompting and
- Social Support.
Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in providing care within the Aged Care, Disability or Veteran sectors.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability, Nursing Students who have completed their first year placement preferred (not essential)
- Car and Drivers license are a must.
- Current CPR & Manual Handling certification or willingness to obtain.
- Friendly and caring with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Professional and clear communication skills to enable effective communication with our clients.
