Our Community Support Workers have the admirable and inspiring role to act with respect for people’s rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision making in accordance with applicable laws and conventions. We do so, by caring for the elderly and disabled in their homes day-to-day. You would be joining a kindhearted team who dedicate their time towards helping enable client independence as well as building relationships within the community.
In this role you will:
- Provide social support, shopping assistance.
- Provide personal care and medication administering.
- Provide care, supports and services in a safe and competent manner, with care and skill as detailed in the Support Plan.
- Provide care, supports and services free from: all forms of violence, discrimination, exploitation, neglect and abuse and sexual misconduct.
- Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of care, supports and services.
- Act with respect for the privacy of people.
- Ensure only safe products are used during supports.
- Provide food services to clients.
- Be receptive to an individual’s needs and wishes.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.

What we require
- Current qualification in Aged/Disability Care (Cert III Aged/Individual Support).
- Minimum two years' Support Worker experience in a community NDIS/Aged Care setting. (non-negotiable)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Medication Administration Competency/Experience
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate (non-negotiable)
- A valid non-provisional WA driving licence.
- A reliable safe vehicle appropriate to transport clients (non-negotiable)
- Full comprehensive car insurance and registration (non-negotiable)
- Fully vaccinated against Covid19 (desirable)
- Our Support Workers must be confident driving around and servicing all suburbs southeast of Perth.
