Sushi Sushi, Australia's largest sushi brand, is going through an exciting period of growth. We are looking for a Company Retail Manager to assist with the leadership our Victorian stores.
The Company Retail Manager role requires an experienced retailer who has operated at a regional or state level. The successful candidate will have an innate understanding of store operations – preferably with QSR brands, as well as a skill for recognising opportunities to drive sales and profit, and an ability to energise a team to perform at their best.
As a senior role in the business, the CRM is responsible for 10 to 15 stores, with Store Managers reporting directly to this role. It’s also critical that the CRM maintains strong relationships with all key stakeholders of our business as a key support in the successful operation of their stores.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing strategies that will grow sales, increase productivity within stores and reduce operational costs.
- Driving outstanding customer experiences in stores, with high quality product, clean store environments, and fantastic customer service.
- Closely managing controllable costs in all company stores, including labour and product COGS.
- Ensuring all stores are compliant with Standard Operating Procedures including the food safety program.
- Analysing monthly P&Ls by store to identify opportunities to grow sales and reduce costs.
- Leading, coaching and developing our company store teams to reach their full potential.
The successful person will have:
- Experience in a regional or state operations role
- A passion for hospitality, casual dining or quick service retail
- A proven and innovative leadership style with the ability to motivate and drive a team
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on results
- Highly developed communication skills, particularly in being able to communicate with multiple support office functions on the other side of the country
- A strong understanding of KPIs, P&Ls and other financial metrics
- Experience in the effective management of safe food handling
