With a solid pipeline of work and ongoing growth across the business, our Industrial line of business is seeking to appoint an experienced Company Secretary to join our Corporate Team in this newly created role.
Based in our brand new, state of the art offices in the SalesForce Tower, Sydney CBD, this role will be an integral part of the business in ensuring Frasers Property Industrial (FPI) and Frasers Logistics and Commercial Trust (FLCT) meets its Australian legal obligations in regards to corporate activities as well as managing the FPI global corporate secretarial function.

As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
- Corporate Secretarial management generally for Australian FPI and Australian Frasers Logistics and Commercial Trust (FLCT) entities, including corporate records management and fillings
- Management of directions and instruction letters for FLCT material decisions, and compliance with FLCT Australian trustee related obligations including Australian Financial Service Licence obligations
- Annual filings and documentation for ASIC cross-guarantees
- Managing and coordinating FPI group corporate meetings including FPI Board, FPI Finance Committee and FPI Investment Committees including collation, distribution and updates of papers using BoardVantage
- Maintenance of annual FPI corporate calendars, assisting General Counsel with minutes of FPI Board and FPI Finance Committee meetings
- Managing a consistent approach for FPI Global corporate secretarial documentation including filing architecture and ‘branding’ form ensuring consistency with precedents and templates with FPI Euro
- Keeping up to date with relevant Australian legislation changes and rules associated with corporate entity management and advising business accordingly
- Assisting with policy development and providing risk input associated with the corporate secretarial function
As the ideal applicant you will possess:
- Relevant degree qualification with a preference for a relevant law degree.
- Demonstrated experience as a Company Secretary
- Experience in corporate administration within Australian Financial Services Licence frameworks in the Real Estate industry eg. corporate management for associated Real Estate Investment Trusts or similar
- Strong working knowledge of relevant Australian legislation
- Demonstrated experience with Board electronic records management platforms such as BoardVantage or similar
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- High developed commercial acumen
