Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage multiple APS5 Complaints Officers. This position has multiple locations across Australia for an initial contract until May 2026.
About the Position
The Complaints department focus on resolving complaints about the quality and safety of services and supports by providers in accord with legislation, and to enable people to move forward. The Outstanding Matters Team will be working on matters that have generally been waiting a while for resolution.
Duties
- Assessing and monitoring complaints and other regulatory intelligence
- Managing a caseload of complaints
- Identifying and providing advice on trends and issues
- Completing assessments of complaints and other regulatory intelligence
- Providing education and training to providers
- Developing and maintaining strategic relationships
- Preparing complex and/or sensitive correspondence and corporate documentation
- Contributing to a learning culture
- Contributing to supporting and building capability in a team environment
- Have an understanding of vicarious trauma
Requirements/Skills
- hold Australian citizenship
- be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police check
- Baseline Security Clearance (mandatory)
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing support: Pre, during and post placement
- Dedicated consultant per contract
