Join our Wealth Platforms aligned Compliance team in Sydney and play a key role in advising, reviewing, and challenging compliance risks in the division.
This is a 12-month contract.

What role will you play?
As a Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in reviewing and enhancing the compliance and risk management framework across multiple retail wealth products, and advise key stakeholders on meeting their compliance requirements, including documenting the existence and adequacy of controls. You will engage with stakeholders in the Wealth Platforms Businesses and broader Risk Management Group on regulatory changes and standards and assist the business with assessing business impacts.
You will perform targeted compliance risk and policy reviews, as well as ongoing compliance monitoring and draft and assist with implementing solutions to process and control design. This will include incident and breach assessment and reporting, tracking identified control improvements and preparing board/management reporting on key compliance metrics and activity.
What you offer
- Prior experience in a Compliance or Risk Management role supporting retail financial services and/or wealth management
- Demonstrable understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a high degree of commercial acumen
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Finance, Commerce or a similar discipline.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
