At Facility Management Victoria Pty Ltd (FMV), we bring life to buildings by providing a quality level of security and concierge services to owners, residents, tenants, and visitors of high-rise residential buildings in Melbourne.
We are currently seeking self-motivated, confident, and energetic Security/Concierge staff to join our team in Melbourne.
In this role you will be responsible for providing a professional Concierge/Security service at a residential apartment building.
The Role:
- Responsible for the safety and security of all residents and visitors.
- Provide residential security/concierge services.
- From time to time undertake cleaning and minor maintenance of the building and common areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and presentation.
- Maintain the general security of the property.
- Act as a key contact person for our building management team.
- Engage with a variety of stakeholders, contractors, and particularly with the residents and the onsite management team.
- Coordinate contractor services in response to residents’ requests.
- Maintain good relationships and communications with all residents and owners.
- Monitor the fire alarm system and take the appropriate action in the event of an alarm being activated.
- Be available to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Supervise any moves in or out that may take place during your shift.
- Monitor CCTV and report any issues to the Building/Facility Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- At least 1-2 years’ work experience and demonstrated success in a residential, hotel, or commercial site.
- You must hold a Security License, level 2 minimum.
- Current workplace First Aid certificate.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and confident with high reliability and punctuality.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Professionally operate essential office software Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and have some experience with Building Management Software: Building Link, MYBOS.
