Apartment Security Officer/Concierge

MONJON is privately owned, specialist security company that provides professional 'in-house-trained' personnel, equipped with leading edge technology that meets the demands of our many national and multi-national clients.

We are currently looking to employ experienced, exceptionalSecurity Officers to assist us in providing an exceptionally high level of customer service, professional conduct and proven aptitude. These qualities are critical to ensure the highest of security standards are provided at all times. 

Most sites are in central Melbourne and shifts times are 

Monday  - Friday 1300-2100

Saturday / Sunday 0600-1400 or 1400-2100

Duties will include but are not be restricted to – 

• Welcome tenants, visitors and contractors to the building.
• Answer enquiries by telephone, email and walk up, assisting tenants and visitors with individual requests. Ensure unauthorised entry is prevented
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information to residents about the building’s facilities and services.
• Deal effectively with complaints.
• Proactively anticipate, identify and rectify issues.
• Ensure and maintain exemplary customer service at all times.
• Patrol building checking all doors, stairwells, mail room, external and internal
• Maintain a professional, clean and smart appearance at all times.
• Ensure effective security of tenants and the building at all times.
• Screen all visitors and contractors ensuring they have permission to be present in the building.
• Manage site access. Manage loading dock access and contractors.

• Essential: apartment/residential tower experience
• Essential: excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Essential: the highest level of professional presentation
• Essential: attention to detail
• Essential: the ability to work without supervision and problem solve
• Essential: dedication, commitment and loyalty
• Essential: be flexible and available to work across the 7 days
• Essential: current Victorian Security Licence (please detail on resume)
• Essential: physically fit and able to complete walking patrols throughout a shift
