With multiple construction projects nationally, we are seeking aConcrete Boom Pump Operator to join our successful delivery team. Opportunities are available for a motivated, committed, reliable and experienced Operator, who has the capacity to travel interstate on a 3:1 roster.

What you will do in this role

• Ensure safe and efficient set-up and operation of plant and equipment
• Manage tasks to achieve production requirements
• Perform tasks in accordance with business and project requirements
• Communicate effectively with team to coordinate concrete installation 
• Understand application of concreting standards
• Manage inventory of plant, equipment and materials associated with plant operation
• Perform daily pre-start, shut down and maintenance protocols
• Submit accurate daily activity records
• Perform manual tasks and other construction duties as required 
• Participate in a team environment and assists team members when required
• Work to a FIFO roster 
• Manage the hazards and risks associated with tasks

About you

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
• Current PB high risk work licence essential
• Construction industry White Card essential
• Valid HR driving licence essential
• Candidates must be physically fit for labour intensive work
• Current DG high risk work licence desirable
• Certificate III in concreting desirable 
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR desirable
• Ability to work well in a team environment 
• Must be willing to perform other duties within qualifications and capacity

• The ability to travel for work on a 3:1 FIFO roster

Successful candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening. In addition, candidates may be required to complete a pre-employment online induction. Employment is subject to satisfactory completion. 

A condition of employment is the ability to undertake a daily drug and alcohol test on site and produce a negative result.

Civil Group will arrange travel from your nearest capital city (point of hire). It is your responsibility to make your own way to the designated POH for mobilisation.
