We have an exciting opportunity for for a Concrete Batch Plant Supervisor/Batcher to be based from the state's southeast town of Keith SA.
Southern Contracting Group have an exciting new addition to the business, located in Keith SA, Longstanding Family Owned Business, Keith Sand & Metal is now under new management, owned and operated by Southern Contracting Group. We are seeking an experienced operator who will be passionate in upholding the great standard of work and aligned company values that Southern Contracting Group has to ensure our new ownership and continued services is seamless and successful for the community and surroundings of Keith SA.
The role will include responsibilities such as the supervision of Concrete Plant and depot yard, operation of a concrete batching plant, batching of concrete, delivery of concrete across all areas of the states southeast, supervising a small team between 1-6 drivers/operators, quality & stock control, yard maintenance, preparing and pouring concrete moulds and liaising with suppliers & clients.

- Employment Type: Full Time (Option for casual employment if preferred)
- Company Vehicle and fuel provided for work and personal use
- Mobile phone provided
- Start Date: Immediate start available
Hours: Mon - Friday 10hr days (Some weekend work may be required from time to time)
Location: Based in Keith, SA
Experience & Requirements:
- Previous experience within the concrete industry and/or concrete batching
- Experience in supervision
- HR Licence (Minimum)
- Experience with electronic batching concrete
- Solid understanding of OH&S
- Familiar with concrete testing techniques
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Strong leadership attributes
- Prompt Problem Solver
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- High work ethic
