An exciting opportunity exists at our Bordertown Plant for a Cold Stores Supervisor. We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to the position and providing an effective, professional service. This person is required to provide leadership, coordination and support to all Departments to ensure the attainment of production, quality/FSQA, Workplace Health and Safety and other objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the cold chain distribution process.
- Supervise and provide assistance and direction to the CCD team.
- Complete and maintain weekly loading schedules.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure the successful completion of orders.
- Complete and approve all required documentation, including MTC’s, I-Leader reports, attendances etc.
- Ensure quality controls are maintained through ongoing monitoring and process checks.
- Complete inventory reconciliations.
Criteria:
- Experience in a similar role/environment desired but not essential.
- Current high-risk forklift license desired but not essential.
- Good verbal & written communication.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Sound computer skills (MS Office, Excel, MS Word).
- The ability to work to a deadline and under pressure.
- Good organizational & time management skills.
- The ability to multitask.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
