Concretor (Civil)

Aitken Civil is a family owned and operated earthworks / road construction company providing civil construction services Sydney wide and Regional areas. 

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Site foreman on a daily basis and will be responsible for conducting productive, safe and quality works.

We are seeking dedicated individuals looking to complete works in Regional NSW and occasionally within the Sydney Region.

Works while regional will be either a 5 days on and 2 days off basis. Or, 10 days on and 4 days off depending on the distance of works from Sydney. Candidates from outside Sydney also accepted as works are regional.

Immediate start available.

The successful applicant preferred competencies to be demonstrated on a day to day basis are listed below:

Duties & focus:

• Concrete pavements; Footpaths, kerbs, laybacks, pram ramps and vehicle pavements
• Capping Beams
• Retaining Wall footings and concrete retaining walls
• Pad and strip footings 

Applicant Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and willing to work with hand tools
• Available work 5/6 days per week
• Must have a good attitude
• Class C licence and vehicle to attend site
• Formworks and concreting experience
• White Card / induction card

Remuneration:

• $35-45 per hour
• Accommodation expenses covered whilst working away
• LAFHA (Living Away from Home Allowance) per day paid additional to wage; $60 per day
• Fuel costs covered for vehicle
