Job Description: As a Sales Engineer in Condition Monitoring and Process Optimisation, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts, fostering strong customer relationships, and promoting the adoption of our solutions. You will leverage your expertise in Condition Monitoring technologies and ideally, Process Optimisation strategies, to effectively engage with clients, identify their unique needs, and propose tailored solutions that address their specific challenges. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for Condition Monitoring and Process Optimisation solutions.
- Identify and qualify leads, cultivate new business opportunities, and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and technical experts, to tailor and present comprehensive proposals and solutions to potential clients.
- Drive sales through effective presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new contracts.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to provide relevant insights and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and trade show participation to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Formal qualifications in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in Condition Monitoring, Process Optimisation, or industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of Condition Monitoring technologies, including vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication analysis, and predictive maintenance.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend conferences, and participate in industry events.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
