We have a great opportunity for a Part-Time Conference & Events Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is for 30 hours per week, and we are flexible with workdays and hours for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an operational background who are seeking to transition into coordination and sales roles.
Your responsibilities….
As our Conference & Events Coordinator, you will oversee the planning and execution of various events across the hotels, including corporate functions, workshops, weddings, and social gatherings. Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support for seamless event coordination
- Managing inquiries and correspondence
- Preparing detailed event documentation.
- Coordinating with hotel departments for logistics
- Maintaining meticulous records and calendars
- Conducting client follow-ups post-event
- Assisting during peak operational periods
- Contributing to sales initiatives and upselling opportunities
About you…
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and proactive initiative
- Attention to detail and passionate about customer service
- Professional and efficient
- Enthusiastic about helping to grow our business
- Ideally previous experience in event coordination, sales or hospitality operations
- Have an understanding of Microsoft office products
