Green Gold Energy is a renewable energy project developer and EPC contractor for 5MW and utility-scale solar and battery projects in SA, VIC, NSW and QLD.
Green Gold Energy is seeking an Event and Conference Coordinator with 2+ years of relevant experience to join the Fullarton, South Australia team.
Responsibilities
- Market and advocate for various events, including conferences, conventions, and expos, to the appropriate audience.
- Address inquiries about the services offered, including venue and equipment rental details, catering options, and other associated services.
- Manage and synchronize the provision of event necessities such as venue setup, food services, signage, exhibition stands, audio-visual systems, lodging, transportation, and ancillary activities for attendees.
- Facilitate the participant registration process for events.
- Conduct negotiations to determine service types and pricing, ensuring alignment with the allocated budget.
- Supervise the performance of third-party service providers, ensuring adherence to service agreements and reporting any discrepancies in service delivery.
- Develop and implement an annual event plan that aligns with marketing strategies.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following experience:
- At least 2 years of proven working experience in marketing
- At least a bachelor’s degree
- Experienced in the Asia market is preferred.
- Excellent time management and proven track record of working to deadlines.
- Creative thinking – for visuals, content, online publicity management and broader business solutions
- Flexible working on modified schedules and/or alternative hours to meet project deadline requirements.
- Experienced in digital media operation is preferred.
Preferred Additional Requirements
- Experience in developing marketing strategies and product promotion is preferred.
- Fluency in both written and oral English is preferred.
- Proficient PC skills in MS Office and English word processing are preferred.
