The company's head office is located in Devonport, Tasmania with other offices, depots and retail sites located throughout Victoria and Tasmania.
The role
The Console Operator provides exceptional customer service and helps in the day-to-day tasks of our service station, and is responsible for but not limited to:
- Maintain inventory and stock control – ensure shelves are stocked and neatly organized
- Operate the POS
- Exercise sales skills appropriate to over the counter sales
- Meter readings, dipping of storage tanks
- Maintain site cleanliness
- Food handling
About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:
- Excellent customer service skills & experience
- Cash handling experience
- Food handling experience
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a close team
- Available to work across a 7 day rotating roster with ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days and evenings.
- Professional attitude and work ethic
- Show initiative
- Demonstrate safe working practices at all times
