AddressMatthews Petroleum is a locally family owned company in operation for over 50 years with multiple petroleum retail sites in Western Victoria and SA.
We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organised individual for a Console Operator role based at our busy BP Service Station in Terang. We have a range of hours and shifts on offer working across 7 days on a casual basis.
The core duties of the role will include but are not limited to:
•Operation of retail cash till including accurate handling of cash and use of POS system.
•Excellent Customer service skills
•Upkeep and cleaning of store and driveway areas
•Working autonomously during morning or night shifts
•Maintaining a safe work environment and attending to any site emergencies
•Comply to OH&S Standards
•Assisting the manager with site operations
The successful candidate will have:
•Experience in retail sales and use of POS system
•Availability to work weekends and nights. Be 18years old or over.
•Work well within a small team
•Experience in, and motivation, to provide excellent service and take pride in allocated tasks
•Excellent communication skills
•Demonstrated ability to honestly and accurately handle cash transactions
•A well groomed professional appearance
•Excellent timekeeping
•Show initiative and enthusiasm
