Role Purpose:
Contribute to regional performance targets for customer satisfaction, safety, environment, and water quality through field-based maintenance and emergency response activities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Safety First: Ensure safety for yourself and others, manage fatigue, report hazards.
- Performance: Maintain water quality, collaborate effectively, lead water investigations, perform Construction and Maintenance tasks.
- Compliance: Use relevant systems and technology, complete electronic reporting.
- Resource Utilization: Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Customer Service: Provide professional communication and high-level service to customers.
Requirements:
- Certificate 3 in Water Operations (desirable)
- Class C Drivers License (essential)
- Heavy Fleet licenses/tickets (desirable)
- Effective communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Tool and machinery skills
- OHS&W, Water Quality, Environmental procedures knowledge (desirable)
Special Conditions:
- Flexible hours, some after-hours work, and travel required.
- Medical clearances and relevant immunisations.
- Clearance checks (police, traffic, Working with Children/Vulnerable People).
- Participation in on-call roster.
- Current driver's licence and construction industry white card.
