AddressLocal Council role within the Irrigation Team. Your day will include maintaining, repairing, monitoring, and operating irrigation systems over a 9 day fortnight for our client.
Never a dull moment with various tasks and work locations.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Operate and Maintain pressurised Irrigation Systems
- Ensure garden bed and turf irrigation on reserves and streetscapes are maintained to operate as they were designed
- Attend to Irrigation Maintenance in a systematic way
- Ensure Irrigation programs are up to date and relevant to season and location
- Exposed garden bed Irrigation is repaired and buried
- Sprinklers are level and to grade
- Valve boxes are level and just below grade
- Repair of any irrigation leaks
- Adjusting sprinkler arcs
- Fault finding on ground issues
- Valve and Sprinkler repairs
- Cleaning out filters regularly as per site requirements
- Measure irrigation delivery system performance
- Responsible for work outcomes in line with Council operational works requirements
- Undertake any other duties as directed by Manager/Co-Ordinator
Medical screening may also form part of the recruitment process.
A minimum of two (2) contactable, work related referees must be supplied in order to be considered for this position
