Position Type: Casual position with Maxima Labour Hire. Full Time hours - (overtime and on-call available)
Duration: Approx 3-6 month contract
Pay Rate: $40ph + Super
Job overview: Our client is the lead organisation providing water security to 1.6 million South Australians. Your role in the network is to maintain quality water systems for regional customers. Utilise your knowledge of networks and complex problems solving, to carry out field-based preventative, corrective maintenance and emergency response activities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain network water quality requirements
- Undertake construction, maintenance, and operational tasks on complex water systems
- Lead water investigations, construction, commissioning, laying mains and connections
- Perform manual handling tasks, working at heights and confined space work
- Undertake environmental reporting
- Relevant industry experience and/transferable skills (essential)
- Class C Drivers License (essential)
- HC License (desirable)
- Backhoe Ticket or other plant machinery tickets (desirable)
- Construction Industry Card (essential)
- Ability to pass functional and D/A medical (essential)
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and/or Traffic Check (essential)
- Can participate in and response to an on-call roster (mandatory)
- Flexibility to travel intra and interstate (mandatory)
