Construction Efficiency Coordinator (CEC)

Melrose Contracting Pty Ltd is a highly regarded Roofing company with operations in Sydney, Newcastle, South Coast, and ACT. We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motived Roof plumber to join us at our Kings Park Office in Sydney. You will be an organized, friendly & focused person with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Drive to building sites and measure flashings and roofs.
• Return unused material to the workshop for reuse.
• Contacting and liaising with building supervisors.
• Keeping track of and ensuring all deadlines are met
• Scheduling of work
• On-site Roof and Flashing measures
• Quality control of roofing installations

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize your work
• Be a self-starter and show initiative
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to read Site Plans and specifications
• Extensive knowledge or experience in the Building and Construction Industry is advantageous
• Work cover approved white card and current NSW Drivers Licence (manual) are essential
• Roof Plumbing accreditation is highly recommended (but not essential)
• Fluent English language skills
