About the role
Responsible for leading, motivating and monitoring a team of Building Supervisors, on Medium Density sites, who ensure that all customers’ homes are built efficiently, within targeted time frames, to budget, within profitability targets and to required QA standards. Bringing your well-developed organisational skills and keen eye for detail to the role, your main responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all safety standards are addressed by building supervisors and both contractors and staff adhere to the safety rules and procedures, and the requirements of the OHS Coordination Plan.
- Ensure all jobs are constructed within the rules of Occupational Health & Safety Act, EPA requirements and other relevant legislation.
- Manage the Construction team by conducting weekly progress meetings with Building Supervisors.
- Implement and maintain agreed Building team Training and Development program.
- Produce weekly site update reports for the client and Project Manager.
- Conduct weekly trade allocation meeting to maximise construction efficiency.
- Maintain a relationship with the QA inspector and full co-operation with on-site personnel to ensure all homes built are to display standard.
- Maximise building turnover by ensuring jobs under construction achieve budgeted timelines and are within cost.
- Monitor construction personnel to ensure sufficient resources are allocated to achieve Construction turnover.
About you

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- At least 10 years’ experience in the Building Industry
- At least 3 years’ experience in managing low-rise Medium Density housing projects.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a small team.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects utilising well developed time management skills.
- Degree or Diploma of Building or Project Management preferred.
