We operate primarily in the Industrial, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Advanced Manufacturing and Research and Development sectors.As a result of a growing pipeline of work, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Project Manager to join our Melbourne based team.The tasks you'll performReporting to the Manager of Projects, this position will involve, but not be limited to, the following deliverables:
- Ensure all project activities are conducted in a manner that highly prioritises safety, environment, community and industrial relations
- Communicate effectively with the client on matters that affect the project goals
- Ensure overall schedules, budgets and target deliverables are achieved to a consistently high standard.
- Manage the compilation and submission of the project progress report monthly or as required by the contract.
- Manage all members of the project team in compliance with applicable project requirements and current industry work codes and standards.
- Provide project support and input to proposals, customer presentations, and other marketing /business development activities as required.
- 10+ years of Project Management experience with strong exposure to the Chemical / Process / Manufacturing sectors
- Proven experience in the management of Greenfield and Brownfield Projects
- Strong technical background with a broad multi-disciplinary base processing, in the manufacturing, chemical, plant / infrastructure sectors
- Demonstrated ability to direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to deliver critical project objectives.
- Strong understanding and awareness of project implementation, constructability, OH&S, environmental, community and industrial relations issues.
- Experience in Feasibility Study Management (desirable).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable).
