We’re looking for experienced Site Superintendents & Construction Managersto join our growing Yurika business on a 24-month fixed-term basis as we continue to deliver renewable energy infrastructure projects located across Australia.
If you have previously worked in a Construction Management, Site Management or Site Superintendent roles with a civil or electrical background in either energy, renewables, utilities, mining or O&G then please keep reading.

About your new role

The Site Superintendent's primary objective is to effectively and efficiently manage the project site to in line with Yurika and the clients expectations. You will oversee all construction activities, ensuring that site safety, quality in line with ISO 9001 standards, compliance with statutory regulations and key project deadlines are met.

This will require extensive pre-construction planning, along with the ability to forward plan multi-disciplinary activities to enable successful delivery of the project. The project site is generally to support the construction of large scale substations and/or Transmission powerlines up to 275kV on wind, solar & BESS projects with civil and electrical work scopes.

You will be based in Queensland (candidates from other major capital cities are encouraged to apply) with extensive travel requirements throughout Australia. You must be prepared to work away from home on a 10/4 fortnightly swing (travelling on your first and last day of the swing) as needed on a project-by-project basis, working a reasonable amount of overtime as required.

About You

You're a leader who has demonstrated experience leading and managing the construction of large-scale energy assets such as HV substations, switchyards and /or transmission lines. Critical to your success in the role is your demonstrated experience in leading and managing the construction delivery of large scale across a national footprint in either the energy, utilities, mining or construction sectors.

Your leadership abilities to influence positive safety, quality and delivery outcomes is paramount.
Additionally, you have:

• Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency (or other Australian state/territory equivalent) as an Electrical Tradesperson
• Current ‘C’ class open Drivers Licence
• General Construction induction card (white card)
• Strong commercial acumen
• High level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Over 10 years in construction including 5 years in a site leadership role

The position has been evaluated as Supervisor Grade Four (SUP4). The remuneration for your new role is from $156k plus 12.75% super for a 10-day fortnight plus site allowances and overtime as the project dictates. Apply now for more information.
