ASKIN is seeking a full time, qualified and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Malaga WA. The role covers a broad spectrum of building applications that utilise insulated panel systems across market segments including commercial, industrial and retail.
Responsible for managing multiple commercial Construction Projects/sites, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has a passion for safety, building to the highest standards, delivering on time within budget and forming customer relationships.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Project team leadership, coordination with all relevant parties, including builders, end users, contract administrators, subcontractors, employees and professional trade's people.
- Ensure all materials and equipment comply with required accreditation, qualifications and or certifications.
- Managing safe work practices and OH&S compliance, including sub-contractors.
- Oversee / ensure personnel complete the required safety induction and comply with SWMS at all times.
- Overall management of sites, including building to schedule and on time delivery.
- Optimise the use of labour and resources.
- Regular reporting on all activities / projects, including progress, variations, OH&S, job specifications, progress claims.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in managing contractor and supplier relationships within the construction business.
- Be highly organised and proactive, have a strong work ethic.
- Be able to maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and employees.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Computer literacy a must.
