Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our small but dynamic team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the BMR Team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of HDPE piping, civil and construction projects from quotation to completion. They will collaborate with stakeholders, manage budgets and resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all phases of piping and civil projects, including tendering, planning, procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established targets.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks, and implement effective solutions to address project challenges.
- Oversee quality control and assurance processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, including BMR Management and Clients.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the piping and civil industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong technical knowledge of piping systems, civil engineering principles, and construction practices. Experience with HDPE piping will be highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience with tendering and estimating piping, civil and/or construction works, with HDPE knowledge highly regarded.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering work of the highest quality.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Eagerness to work hard and go the extra mile to ensure project success.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Excel and Outlook.
