Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets. Utilize project management tools and techniques to ensure effective scheduling and coordination of activities.
- Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards. Manage change orders and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cost Control and Budgeting: Monitor project expenditures and track costs against the budget. Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Quality Assurance and Safety: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds project specifications. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and industry best practices.
- Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of managers, engineers, technicians from client companies, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive working environment, encouraging teamwork and problem-solving.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Provide regular project updates and reports, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts. Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Project management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in Construction Project management, with a focus on metal fabrication, steel erection, and Pipework projects.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Remuneration: $100,000 ~ $120,000, depending on experience and skill set.
