Full Time permanent Position based in Townsville North Queensland.
An Energy Efficient Products company with a record of over 23 years within the Construction industry, in Townsville North Queensland is seeking an energetic and skilled Sound Engineer. For a position in the growing Acoustic Thermal and Fire prevention insulation sectors.
The successful applicant will have over 10 years of experience within sound Engineering and acoustics fields. Great communication skills, a good customer care bias, attention to detail and be able to work autonomously to deliver quotes and tenders on time.
Other Skills and Experience required: -
- Understand Sound absorption & how to reduce reverberated noise in building interiors.
- Fully understand RW Ratings for partition walling, Implications of Resilient mounts, and Furring Channels.
- Understanding of how to meet targeted dBs or Noise Reduction Coefficients.
- This person will require a current Driver’s license to inspect work sites and see clients.
- Have above average reading, writing, communication, and Computer skills .
- Have a Housing Industry Association. (HIA) GreenSmart Professional Sustainability Accreditation and be able to obtain a Housing Industry Association. (HIA) - Construction Safety Accreditation, Blue & White Card.
- Capable of reading and interpreting Building plans and Tenders.
- Being capable of generating, client quotations, and product estimates and proposals.
- Be able to work autonomously, to meet K.P.I’s and report to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks.
- Providing a weekly call sheet, future quote list, tender status list, work in progress report and sales report to the managing Director.
- Call on and service our list of acoustic, thermal and fire insulation, Clients Builders, Designers, Architects, Buyers on a bimonthly basis.
- Assist the administration team, with store openings and closings answering the telephone and walk in clients if other team members are otherwise engaged.
- Being able to attend Trade and Construction shows from time to time.
*A Handsome Starting salary Package of between 60-70K + Superannuation,
*4 weeks paid leave a year. *Use of a company Car, Fuel and Mobile phone is offered.
*The Company is also offering performance Bonuses and scope for growth into a Senior Management role for the successful applicant.
