Road Construction Surveys specializes in engineering survey services for road reconstruction, subdivisions, bridges, earthworks and all civil and infrastructure works. We are a well developed company, providing services to Melbourne and Victoria for over 35 years. Road Construction Surveys has a vacant position for a survey technician, graduate or surveyor on a full time basis with an immediate start if suitable.
Applicants must have the necessary requirements (do not apply if you are not familiar with the following):
-the right to work in Australia and the construction induction white card
-must reside in commuting distance to the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne
Whilst experience is preferred, it is essential you have a strong work ethic, solid math skills, computer savvy and be prepared to work as a team, not only within RCS, but closely with our client base.
RCS will provide in depth training to make sure you have the skills to perform the tasks requested of you, but the following experience will be highly regarded:
-field experience with hardware such as Trimble or Leica robotic total station and GPS units for set out.
-field experience with software such as Trimble Access or 12d field for set out.
-office experience with AutoCAD Civil 3d or 12d, for design and computations.
-the ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.
-manual driving license preferred.
-drone experience preferred.

We operate over the entire metro area and fringes, but we would prefer someone centrally located or based in the western suburbs.
