About the role:
As a Construction Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the rectification process in construction projects. This includes ensuring that repairs and corrections are carried out according to specifications and quality standards.
Key responsibilities and tasks of this role include, but are not limited to;
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
- Ensure repairs are carried out with a strong focus on deadlines, quality of works, customer experience and quality KPI's
- Co-ordination and management of all repairs and approved allocated progress of works within your portfolio
- Preparation of variations for submission to clients
- Supervise and inspect jobs to ensure compliance with required WHS legislation
- Review works to ensure compliance with the building code of Australia
- Conduct periodic quality and WH&S spot checks on trades
- Providing a high level of customer service, at all times, ensuring clients are well informed and kept up to date with the progress of works
- Maintain knowledge of building regulations and industry practices
We Require from You:
- A trade qualification in carpentry or plumbing
- Experience in project management in similar industry is highly desirable
- Extensive knowledge of building codes and standards
- Relevant WH&S Induction Construction Cards
- Relevant Building & Supervisor qualifications/licences
- Certificate IV in Building is preferred
- Valid Driver's license
- Working at heights licence is desirable
- Proven customer service skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office Applications
