The Senior Technical Service Supervisor is responsible for Supporting the new product introduction (NPI) & Product Line Management (PLM) programs for the ANZ business, reporting to the Technical Manager
This role is the dedicated food systems business development technical lead and technically supports a small set of key ANZ customers.Core Responsibilities: (list in order of critical deliverables)

• Food systems business development allocated technical lead - Support commercial lead with building food systems business with all technical requirements; formulations, testing, prototype development, customer presentations, visits, trouble shooting. Conduct all lab work to support food systems business development. Development of all new product content and accountable for delivery of sound formulas, prototypes and supporting content for Marketing to use in campaign with support from technical team
• Key customer account support - responsible for providing technical support to a nominated set of key ANZ customer accounts, trouble shooting, presentations, technical briefs, projects and prototypes as required
• Technical projects - reactive customer technical brief work and proactive technical initiated projects as required & supporting ANZ sampling program
• New Product Introduction (NPI) process support - Support the NPI calendar for ANZ business by conducting product evaluations and application to identify key functionality and valuer propositions that can be included in the GTM roll out for the products. Then supporting NPI and product innovation presentations for both internal & external customers
• Product Line Management (PLM) support - Support the PLM and product rationalization program, including supply issues and manufacturing location changes for ANZ imported products. Co-ordinate and conduct any basic testing required to evaluate for approval
• Local blending - Locally blending review and approval when required including re-packing and new food systems blends
• Marketing support - Providing technical content for materials with Marketing, proofreading brochures and vetting new product and customer enquiries
• Regional & global participation - GET team member for Food systems, ANZ IP champion and Fit4Growth regional team member

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in science based or food related courses.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a research and development technical, application or innovation role across various food applications & technologies in the food industry
• Strong Product Application experience - sound knowledge with ingredient interactions in a food matrix. Hands on practical lab and kitchen understanding
• Understanding manufacturing equipment and operations across a broad number of food categories
• Capability and drive to implement action plans according to business needs
