A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Consultant or Resourcer to join the Melbourne Education team specialising in Early Years permanent recruitment. This position presents outstanding and uncapped earning potential along with career progression opportunities. You will be working as part of a team, alongside a highly experienced consultant who has been a specialist in this sector for over 10 years.
About your roleAs a Recruitment Consultant in the Early Years division, you will be responsible for running a 360 degree recruitment desk focusing on the recruitment of educators, teachers and management roles within the childcare sector. You will take pride in moving employers through the complete hiring process from initial client acquisition to placement and aftercare demonstrating your knowledge, skill and care throughout.
To help achieve your career goals you will be supported by an experienced manager and mentors as well as an established learning and development platform for continuous training.
Responsibilities include:
Build and manage your relationship with early learning providers.
Business development with new clients
Management of large state based and national accounts at multiple levels and with different stakeholders
Headhunting, candidate attraction and talent pooling
Screening, interviewing and presentation of candidates
Staying up to date with industry trends and remaining knowledgeable on early learning terminology.
What we are looking for
Early childhood or education experience is desirable
You thrive on building trusting relationships
Previous local experience within the education space, sales, customer service or retail management
You are results driven and motivated to exceed sales targets
You are resilient, proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
You demonstrate an interest in understanding others needs to help you to achieve both your personal and your clients goals
You listen, consult and communicate proactively
You are technically savvy and have great attention to detail
