YOUR ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a Property Claims Consultant to join the CGU Personal Broker Claims Team. The Role will be based in Western Australia on a full-time permanent basis managing Broker Home & Landlord Claims. A Claims Consultant is the core of our claims experience and everything they do has the potential to make things better for our customers. Our consultants need to be available to assist our customers in their time of need creating closer relationships, being braver in exploring the best options for our customers and be able to work fast and efficiently to ensure a smooth and seamless claims process.
Successful candidates will work from our state-of-the-art office located in the West Perth office, with flexibility to work from home after training and attend the office when required. You will work Monday to Friday Business Hours from 8.30 - 5.00PM. Your IAG journey commences with a comprehensive, induction training (fully paid).
Please note: To work from home, you will need high speed internet connection and a private home office set up. Hybrid/WFH work arrangements apply after the initial training period.
ABOUT YOU
To be success you'll demonstrate the following:
- Understanding and sound knowledge of claims management and settlement
- Experience in the successful settlement of claims requiring significant negotiation
- Capability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to actively listen and problem solve effectively
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
