YOUR ROLE
We currently have an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading Insurance brand as a Consultant, Fleet Underwriter reporting into the Fleet Underwriting Manager, you'll manage a large portfolio of brokers with underwriting of new business and renewal quotations to drive profitable growth for our CGU brand. You will be required to work collaboratively in the team and produce quality technical underwriting.
This is a market facing role where you will build strong relationships with our broker network by regular communication and site visits. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who can effectively provide problem solving solutions.
This is a permanent role open to candidates in Perth. We work flexibly with a mix of work from home and the office.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous underwriting experience in motor, heavy motor or fleet is preferred, however, underwriting experience in alternative classes of business may be considered
- Have up to date knowledge of the insurance industry and products
- Established customer and broker relationships
- Ability to develop successful working relationships with stakeholders and other team members
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent collaboration and multitasking skills
